Adventure with Endo – Canoeing the Yukon 2025

In 2025 Lucy successfully completed her solo canoe expedition down the length of the Yukon River! A trip from A Téix’gi Aan Tlein Park (Atlin Lake, in British Columbia), in the lands of the Tlingit First Nations to Emmonak, the lands of the Yup’ik Eskimo People, travelling through more than 20 different traditional lands. An incredible 3,160km, Lucy completed the trip in 70 days!

Premier Film Screening: Still I Paddle

I am so excited to let you all know that I have finished making a film about my solo paddle of the Yukon in 2025! I will be hosting a premier screening here in Cairns and then the film will hopefully make it into some film festivals! If the film is successful in the festivals, it won’t be made publicly available until the film tours have concluded! So for my supporter from afar, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer than those lucky ducks here in Cairns!

If you’re in Cairns, I can’t wait for you to join me for an unforgettable evening at the Premier Screening of Still I Paddle!

After canoeing over 3,000km along the Yukon River, I will share my extraordinary journey. From breathtaking landscapes and close wildlife encounters to her lived experience with endometriosis, I am proud to share my journey with you all.

Adventure with Endometriosis

The focus of Lucy’s 2025 expedition was to raise awareness of Endometriosis, a condition that she lives with. Endometriosis is one of the to 10 most painful conditions in the world, and learning how to live with the condition is a challenging journey of perseverance and determination.

Lucy has teamed up with QENDO, an organisation from her home state Queensland, Australia that is advocating for and supporting people who live with endometriosis. She is raising funds to support the organisation who has provided integral support and advocacy to those living with Endometriosis.

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis officially in 2023. You can read my Endo story on the QENDO Blog here: https://www.qendo.org.au/blog/lucys-story

Everyone’s experience of Endometriosis is different, and what’s possible for me isn’t possible for everyone. I hope that through this, I help others better understand endometriosis and give hope to others with the condition that they too can find adventure!
